Download and Setup

You can run this game on Windows, Linux, or Mac OS X. To play verilogTown you will need the following:

• The game files unzipped into a directory.  This dowload includes some startup scripts, jar files, and level files (each level has  initial Verilog files and the level's map)
• An installed Java Virtual Machine (JVM) - version 1.7 or higher

Download this file above and unzip it into it's own directory.  This will not install anything since the game runs as an executable JAR (Java based) file. Next, go into the directory you just unzipped in and run the game by opening the appropriate file.  The files you could open depending on your OS are:

• Batch file from Windows: verilogTown_windows.bat
• Shell scrtip for Mac or Linux: verilogTown_linux.bat
• Jar executable: jars/verilogTown.jar
